Tavia shares that joining The Light Women’s Advocate Program gave her hope during a difficult season in her life. Through the support and guidance of the program, she received transitional housing that provided safety and stability for her and her family.
With encouragement, mentorship, and one-on-one support, Tavia was also able to:
- Secure employment through the program
- Begin working within the school district
- Receive a promotion into a management position
- Build confidence and independence for herself and her family
Tavia says the support she received helped her move from uncertainty into stability and purpose, and she is grateful for the opportunities that allowed her to grow personally and professionally.
